# Programming prerequisite

Most of the software ecosystem examples will require using a native Linux PC.\
It may be possible to use a Windows PC running WSL or a virtual Linux machine like VMware, Virtual Box, but this is not supported in this documentation.\

Generally, Robotics uses ROS2 and a corresponding LTS version of Ubuntu. Other configurations may work, but are not supported in this documentation.
