J2 Header

Header J2 is used to connect the motors and the servo to the board. It provides the necessary control signals and power lines for these components.

*NOTE

The servo should not draw power directly from the FRDM-MCXN947 board. Most servo models, like the MG995 or MG996, can draw up to 2.5A—far more than the board can safely supply. If powered from the board, the servo may deliver weak torque at best, or damage the board at worst.

Instead, connect the servo’s power lines to a separate voltage regulator, ideally a dedicated one. Only the PWM signal and a common ground should be connected between the servo and the board.
