Voltage Regulator

The regulator's role is to stabilize the battery's supply voltage to 5V, ensuring that connected components receive a consistent and safe power level, even if the battery voltage fluctuates.

The VBAT is connected to the battery's positive terminal and 5V is connected to the board/servo.

It is good practice to use two separate voltage regulators to supply the board and the servo from different sources.

The MG995 and MG996R servos have an operating voltage range of 4.8V to 7.2V. Increasing the voltage supplied to the servo will improve its speed and torque. However, the board should be supplied with no more than 5V to ensure safe and stable operation.
