# Using an M8 GPS with Cognipilot

Instead of the M10 GPS provided:

if you want to use your M8 GPS add this to your cerebri/app/b3rb/boards/mr\_canhubk3.conf:

```
CONFIG_CEREBRI_SENSE_UBX_GNSS_MODULE_TYPE_M8=y
CONFIG_CEREBRI_SENSE_UBX_GNSS_BAUD=38400
```

And to remove the need for the battery monitor also add:

```
CONFIG_CEREBRI_SENSE_POWER=n
```
